My son Tyson is medically complex, and walking this journey with him opened my eyes to a world I hadn’t fully seen before. A world that is often misunderstood, overlooked, or reduced to diagnoses—but is actually overflowing with strength, perseverance, and profound love.
Through Tyson, I’ve learned how much beauty exists in things that don’t follow a typical timeline. I’ve learned how much courage lives in small victories, how loudly joy can show up in quiet moments, and how deeply families love when life demands more of them. He changed not only my heart, but the way I see people. These sessions were never about labels or diagnoses. They were never about what a child can or cannot do. They are about connection. About presence. About honoring children exactly as they are, in their own beautiful way.
Project Ty On The Road is a way for me to travel to other cities and states, and still offer these photo sessions for families, still absolutely free! I started a GoFundMe for anyone who would like to contribute to the cause! 100% of these donations will go towards gas/travel and lodging!
