Why should you learn from me?
Hi! I'm Montana—a completely self-taught photographer who went from hobby photographer to part-time photographer to full-time photographer in less than five years, all while raising 3 boys. Almost everything I know, I learned through trial and error. I've made the mistakes, figured out what works (and what definitely doesn't), and I spent way too many years in the hobby field, and I'm here to help you so you don't have to spend so long as a hobby photographer, but start making a livable income.
I started out specializing in newborn photography, even working with three different hospitals providing newborn sessions. Today, I specialize in high school seniors and have built one of the most sought-after senior photography experiences in my area. Along the way, I've photographed just about everything—from families and couples to maternity, branding, weddings, boudoir, and more.
I don't believe there's one “right” way to build a photography business. I want to share what has actually worked for me—the strategies, systems, techniques, and lessons I've learned along the way—and help you build a photography business that feels like you.
